The Tsachila tribe are an aboriginal group of the Ecuadorian lowlands of the Amazon, and live today the way they have for centuries. They are proud people and share their ways with visitors who come to witness their traditions and crafts. This lady casts a somber eye as she is making a blanket similar to the one behind her.
