Galapagos Tortoise
The Highlands of Santa Cruz island are home to the giant tortoise, where males can easily reach 500 pounds. They lumber around eating lots of grass and when the mangos are plentiful they will gorge themselves building up reserves. More than one hissing fight can erupt over a cache of the favored fruit, but rarely is there an injury.
