Corcovado Horsecart
No motorized vehicles are allowed in the Corcovado National Park. Costa Rica pioneered eco-tourism with the model now being used in many parts of the world. We arrived at a small dirt airstrip and had to walk about a mile to the Corcovado Lodge. Some of us carried our backpacks while others took advantage of the horsecart to lighten the load as we traversed the lovely Pacific Ocean beach.
